The remarkable little Welsh rugby club that's produced as many 2017 Lions as Scotland

The unheralded division one west outfit have an amazing track record for bringing through outstanding rugby players.

Is Gorseinon a town or a village? “Well, we’ve got an Asda now,” replies one of the local rugby club’s age-grade coaches.
A town it is, then.
Whatever, it is a place that boasts a very special claim to fame.
For Gorseinon RFC can claim to be doing as much for the 2017 British and Irish Lions as Scotland: Nicola Sturgeon, Jim Telfer, William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and all.
Three players, after all, who will represent the best of British and Irish rugby in New Zealand this summer passed through Gorseinon’s junior ranks. Leigh Halfpenny, Dan Biggar and Ross Moriarty were all once part of the scene at a club nestled near the Swansea-Llanelli border, amid a community of under 9,000.
